Are you addicted to the Hand ‘N Foot game, yet? If so, you may be wondering what a group is, and how you use one. If not, you should start reading more about the card game that is soon to sweep the nation. In this article you will find out all about groups and how to use them, which may come in handy while you are in the middle of a heated game.
To start, seven or more cards define a “group.” Also, a group must begin with the “initial meld” of three or more cards (you can add more cards later). Note – sequences and runs are not valid when it comes to forming a group! Next, you should know that when you add a Wild card to a Clean group, that card makes the group a Dirty group, which is then worth 500 points. However, a group that consists of only Wild cards totals 2000 points, so watch out for those. If you decide to add additional cards to the group, you should know that these cards will not act in any way to add value to the original cards, they will only add to the count. Finally, any group can be Capped by a “Lady” that will equate 100 extra points.
Now that you know all about groups, make sure to use them to your advantage. The rules of Hand ‘N Foot are simple and easy to follow, which makes this game fun for all.
