Hand ‘n Foot is a unique card game that can be enjoyed by players both young and old. It is also a unique card game that can’t be played by using your typical deck of cards. In order to play the game properly you will need five decks of cards that include a lord, lady, villain, joker, and jester along with the face value cards.
As you might have guessed a card game that takes five decks of cards to play with can be a little bit complicated. Don’t worry, you will have several rounds to incorporate all 262 cards. Keep in mind also that each player is essentially dealing with two separate hands that he or she is responsible for playing. Of course in this game, the player has a hand and a foot rather than two hands!
Hand ‘n Foot isn’t like a poker game that is over after each hand and new game is begun. There are a total of four rounds that go on in each game of Hand ‘n Foot, with each game lasting between 1 and 3 hours. In that regard it has something in common with board games like Monopoly and Risk. The idea is for each partnership to earn as many points as they can before the end of the game. There are literally hundreds of points to be earned in four rounds of play, so your scores can get quite impressive. And this game of skill requires more than blind luck, so there are also plenty of gloating opportunities when play is over too.
