So, you have just purchased the five decks that come with every Hand 'n Foot game, but you do not know where to begin. Where should you start? Who makes the first move? Nearly every game has a set of rules in place in order to begin the game, and Hand 'n Foot is no exception to this rule.

To start your fun and exciting game of Hand 'n Foot, begin with setting up teams. If you have four players, split the group into teams of two (six players, teams of three, and so on). Then, note that your team must "meld" 50 points in order to start playing on the board. The actual objective is to gain as many points as your team can by taking two cards and discarding one card (similar to Rummy). If a players asks the group to "go out" the first round has just ended. However, you should note that a player can only go out when their partner has deemed this possible, otherwise the player must keep playing the game. If a player does go out, the points are totaled at this time.

As you can see, the Hand 'n Foot game is really quite easy to begin, but you just need to keep the rules of "going out" in mind. Also, mind those melds as they can become rather tricky. Then again, card games are an integral part of any society, and they truly do bring people closer together.
