How Well Do You Know Your Hand 'n Foot Partner?

You can tell a lot about a person by the way he or she plays Hand 'n Foot.  Much like having poker "tells," people who know each other very well often make a deadly combination of partners during games of Hand 'n Foot.  When you know what your partner has in his or her hand without them having to signal to you, you definitely have the advantage over the other teams.

Some people play the game so well that they have become a force to be reckoned with.  Such is the case for Durwood and Joyce Miller, who first learned about the game of Hand 'n Foot while they were living in Balikpapin, Indonesia.  Unlike the luxuries of the United States, there weren't movie theaters or shopping malls to pass the time in.  But the Millers didn't mind.  They could find plenty of entertainment by playing Hand 'n Foot.

In fact, the Millers got so good at the game that they are able to teach the game in a wide variety of settings to groups both large and small.  Hand 'n Foot is a somewhat complicated game, but the Millers have the rules mapped out in a way that is easy to follow and helps to make experts out of beginners in no time flat.  Just don't get too overconfident and challenge the Millers to a game.  As Joyce admits, "People won't usually let us play as partners.  I can tell just by the way he plays what he is holding in his hand."  That's a product of a lot of years of marriage, and a lot of games of Hand 'n Foot!
