Trivial Pursuit

You may think that a board game and a card game have nothing in common, though you’d be wrong in that assumption. What is the one thing that trivial pursuit teaches you? To think critically. Consider all of the times that you simply could not come up with the right answer to a Trivial Pursuit question, what did you do? Most likely, you thought about the question for a few moments, and then you miraculously came up with the right answer. The fact is, the answer was there all along, you just had to use your brain in order to remember it.

Imagine playing a game of Hand ‘n Foot amidst candlelight when the electricity has gone out for an evening. Though you may not be able to see your opponent’s faces all that well, you can certainly try and analyze the situation at hand. In the same way that you may not be able to come up with that Trivial Pursuit answer, you may not be able to come up with your next Hand ‘n Foot move – then again, once you begin to think about it, the moves will simply begin to flow from your mind, and that is the mark of an excellent game.
